ACC Mountain West is an award-winning organization made up of over 280 active in-house counsel members representing leading local, national, and international companies. Serving in-house counsel in Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming, the Mountain West Chapter covers the largest geographical region of any chapter in the Association of Corporate Counsel. Donation Drive: Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters 2020

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country.

Many children and families are struggling more than ever right now. Big Brothers Big Sisters needs our support to provide services for kids in need. In spite of the pandemic, Bigs and Littles are still meeting-- often doing activities/projects together virtually.

For most of the Littles in the program, life has presented them with disadvantages. Through no fault of their own they don’t have the same head start in life as other children, and typically these disadvantages will affect the way their life unfolds. Helping Littles to thrive and realize their potential is pivotal to them achieving success. And with your support, we can help them to have the biggest and brightest future possible. Your donations will help to cover the costs associated with: recruiting, background checks, references, interviews, training and monthly oversight of each match- the fundamentals that ensure the success of each and every match.

ACC Mountain West is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters in a Donation Drive Competition, which will run January-June 2021. For every dollar donated, ACC Mountain West will match the donation, up to $2,500. BBBS has set up a secure donation site just for our chapter, so all members can contribute.

We are running a competition for the Donation Drive between Utah and Idaho members-- which state will bring in the most donations?
